Mr. Safir currently serves as a director of Citius, a developer of pharmaceutical products, and LexisNexis Special Services, Inc., a leading provider of information and technology solutions to governments, and previously served as a director of Implant Sciences Corporation. During his career, Mr. Safir served as the 39th Police Commissioner of the City of New York, as Associate Director for Operations, U.S. Marshals Service, and as Assistant Director of the Drug Enforcement Administration. Mr. Safir was awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor among other citations and awards.
