Prior to joining San Diego Community Bank, he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Fullerton Community Bank from 1997 to 1998, president, chief executive officer and director of the Bank of Southern California from 1994 to 1996, and president, chief executive officer and director of Capitol Bank Sacramento from 1992 to 1994. From 1969 to 1992, Mr. King held various senior positions in commercial lending, real estate lending, credit administration, corporate and merchant banking and retail banking at Security Pacific National Bank.
