In 1999 Mr. Schwartz founded Prudent Capital, which manages funds that lend to and invest in profitable, later-stage operating businesses. He continues to serve as the Portfolio Manager of such funds. He has served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University’s master’s programs and taught corporate finance and real estate tax. He served as a director of a community bank in Rockville, Maryland, from 1995 until its sale to FCNB in 1998.
